In beige, the Gorsenia Toscana K156/1 is a plain, padded plunge bra on underwires, with a lightly lustrous smooth cover and a neckline cut lower than a classic bra. Its foam is even throughout and carries no push-up pads.

Inside and outside the cup

Corsetry foam stiffens the whole cup at a single thickness, the outside is a smooth knit with a soft sheen, and cotton lines the inside. Shaped by the underwires, the cups are designed to draw the bust inwards and give it a round, supported shape.

Band and back

Lycra-type knit forms the sides and is made to resist stretching, and vertical bones sit in them across the whole size range. Two or three rows of hooks close the band, depending on size, with three settings in each case. At the front, the centre is cut to rest on the breastbone and is finished with a tiny bow and charm.

Removable straps

Both straps unclip and adjust in length, and they get wider in the larger sizes. They can be swapped for any compatible pair, clear silicone straps included.

Beige under clothing

The plain, smooth cups add little surface texture under close tops, and the plunge centre sits low enough for a V-neck. Beige draws less attention under light clothes when it matches your skin closely.

Not ideal for: volume from push-up pads; an unpadded or sheer cup; a bra without wires; going strapless.

Care

With its hooks closed, the bra can be washed by hand between 30 and 40 °C or on a gentle machine setting inside a wash bag. It should not be bleached, ironed, dry cleaned or put in a tumble dryer.
