Payment Policy

Lascava offers secure payment by card, PayPal, mobile wallets, and local payment methods. All prices on the site include VAT and are charged in the currency you select at checkout.

Accepted payment methods

Payments are processed by Stripe, one of the world's largest payment providers. You can pay for your order using:

Visa and Mastercard — credit and debit cards
PayPal
Apple Pay and Google Pay — on supported devices and browsers
Klarna — pay later and installments, where available in your country
Local payment methods by country — such as iDEAL (Netherlands), Bancontact (Belgium), EPS (Austria), TWINT (Switzerland), or BLIK (Poland)

The methods shown to you depend on your country, selected currency, and device. The selection is made automatically at checkout.

Prices and VAT

All prices displayed on Lascava include VAT at 23%, the rate applicable in Poland, where Lascava is based. The price on the product page is the price you pay; for deliveries within the European Union, no additional taxes are added at checkout.

For destinations outside the EU, the same price applies. Lascava does not collect local import taxes — as described in our Shipping Policy, recipients pay no customs duties or import charges on delivery.

Currencies

Lascava supports three display currencies: USD, EUR, and GBP. You can switch currency at any time in the site header. The amount is charged exactly in the currency selected at checkout — with no conversion on our side.

If your card or bank account is held in a different currency, your bank applies its usual exchange rate and may charge a foreign transaction fee. These fees are outside our control; to avoid them, select your account's currency at checkout.

Payment security

All payments are processed through Stripe, a payment provider certified at PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest security standard in the card industry. PayPal payments within this flow are processed by PayPal under its own security standards.

Lascava does not store your card details. Card data is entered within Stripe's secure environment, transmitted encrypted, and never passes through Lascava's servers. The entire site operates over HTTPS with SSL encryption.

3D Secure verification

Card payments may require 3D Secure verification — a one-time code from your bank or a confirmation in your banking app. This is a security step required by EU regulations (PSD2 / Strong Customer Authentication) to protect against unauthorized card use. Simply follow your bank's instructions.

If your payment fails

If a payment is declined or interrupted, you are returned to checkout and can choose another card or payment method. Common reasons for declined payments: insufficient funds, expired card, incorrect CVV, or a block by your bank on international transactions. If the problem persists, contact your bank first — most cases are resolved through approval in the banking app or by phone.

Order confirmation

After successful payment, you see a confirmation page with your order number and a summary of items. Within a few minutes, you receive a confirmation email at the address you provided. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder or contact us at info@lascava.com with your order details.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. We initiate the refund within 7 days of receiving and inspecting your return. Depending on the payment method and your bank, it may take an additional 5–10 business days for the amount to appear in your account; PayPal refunds are usually visible sooner.

Bank and third-party fees

Some banks or card networks charge their own fees, including:

Foreign transaction fees — if your card is issued in a country other than the merchant's
Currency conversion fees — if the currency selected at checkout differs from your account currency

These fees are charged by your bank, not Lascava. If you are unsure whether your bank charges such fees, check with your card issuer before ordering.
