The Gorsenia Dotti G021 is a semi-padded underwired bra made for small, medium and large busts. Thin foam sits in the lower cup only, under opaque microfibre, while the upper cup is dotted tulle finished with a scalloped lace edge. A small light gold logo plate sits at the centre.

What semi-padded means on this model

Only the bottom half of the cup is built up, with a thin layer of foam behind opaque microfibre. The top half has no foam at all and stretches to follow the shape of the bust. Gorsenia's stated purpose for that split is to lift, round and bring the bust towards the centre while keeping the upper edge soft. What you actually get out of it depends on your size and your shape, as it does with any cup.

The dots, and how sheer they are

The upper cup is sheer tulle scattered with small dots, the pattern the collection is named for, edged along the top with a narrow scalloped lace. A slim sheer strip runs down the centre between the cups as well. The lower cup is opaque microfibre, so the two see-through parts are the top edge and that centre strip. Under a thin or pale top the lace edge and the dots can read through.

Band, back and closure

The back is lycra, with side bones there to help limit rolling. Closure is hook-and-eye, two or three rows depending on size, with three positions of band adjustment. Straps are adjustable and do not detach, and the model is made in three strap widths matched to size. All metal parts are light gold and nickel-free.

Gorsenia builds bras across bands 65 to 115 and cups A to M as a brand. Each model covers only part of that and stock moves, so what exists in the G021 is set by the size selector on this page.

Best for: anyone who wants structure in the lower cup without a fully built-up one; everyday wear; smaller cups as well as larger, since Gorsenia builds this model from small busts upward rather than from D.

Not ideal for: anyone who needs a completely smooth cup edge under a fine knit, because the lace and the dots sit right at the top line; anyone looking for a heavily padded or push-up shape.

How to wash the Dotti G021

Hand wash at 40 °C. Do not bleach, do not iron, do not dry clean and do not tumble dry. Fasten the hooks before washing and dry flat or on a line.
