In beige, the Gorsenia Ida K900 is an underwired, unpadded soft bra for medium, large and very large busts, meant to lift the bust firmly and gather it to the centre. Semi-sheer tulle makes up most of each three-piece cup, with a stretch lace in a fishnet pattern across the top.

Tulle, fishnet and the centre

Three pieces form each cup, stable tulle below and elastic fishnet lace above, trimmed along its edge with a small scalloped border. Nothing in the cup is padded, and underwires run beneath it. Its wires are narrow and trace the root of the breast, designed so they do not dig in near the armpit, which is why the fit favours a projected bust on a narrow base. A broad tape closes off the upper edge, and at the centre the gore crosses over, cut so that it avoids pressure. A light gold charm sits at its foot.

Band, hooks and straps

A soft binding runs along the top of the band, added for comfort, and bones at the sides are there to keep the fabric from rolling up. At the back, opaque lycra is joined with stretch lace and tulle. Depending on size, two or three rows of hooks close the band, with three settings either way. The straps shorten and lengthen but stay sewn on, and they are produced in three widths through the sizes. Every metal part is light gold and contains no nickel.

How the beige looks under clothes

The shade is a powder beige rather than a classic one. Under lighter clothing it draws the least attention when it is close to your skin tone. The fishnet and the cup seams still carry texture, so a thin fitted top may show them.

Is the beige Ida for you

Best for: a medium to very large bust that needs real lift without padding, ideally projected and narrow at the base; wear under light clothing when the beige is near your skin tone; anyone who likes a little detail at the neckline.

Not ideal for: a bust that is wide at the root; anyone who wants moulded or padded cups; a bra without wires; an opaque cup under sheer blouses.

Care

Close the hooks first. A hand wash at 30 to 40 °C in mild detergent suits it, as does the delicate cycle of a washing machine with the bra inside a wash bag. It should not be bleached, ironed, dry cleaned or tumble dried.

Semi-sheer. The tulle lets some skin tone through, and the fishnet at the top is openwork.
