The Obsessive College Girl costume puts a sheer white mesh bodysuit under a pleated red tartan mini skirt, and the bodysuit is the part that does the work: underwired cups, a V cut down to the waist that leaves the stomach bare, and an open crotch. The skirt, the wide black belt, the white collar and the tartan tie are separate pieces, five in all.
What comes in the set
Bodysuit, skirt, belt, collar and tie. The bodysuit is 94% polyamide and 6% elastane, the collar 95% polyester and 5% elastane, the tie and skirt 100% polyester, the belt 60% polyester and 40% elastane. The metal parts are nickel-free. Everything arrives in one original Obsessive box.
The bodysuit
The cups are soft and unlined, semi-transparent white mesh with underwires and a vertical seam, on thin straps that adjust through sliders at the back. From the cups two mesh panels run down and meet in a point at the waist, so the front is open in a deep V between them and the sides of the torso are bare. Below the waist the mesh narrows to a thong at the back, and the crotch is open. The band closes at the back with two hooks on two positions. The mesh of the body is transparent, the cups semi-transparent.
The skirt and the belt
The skirt is a short, pleated mini in red tartan with a plain red waistband, sitting low on the hips. Over it goes a wide black elastic belt with a rectangular silver-toned buckle at the front. It is a separate piece worn over the skirt.
The collar and the tie
The collar is a white shirt collar with no shirt attached, closing at the back of the neck. The tie is red tartan to match the skirt and is a separate piece, not sewn to the collar. Both are worn over the bodysuit.
Choosing a size
The pieces are supplied together in the same set size and cannot be mixed between different sizes. Compare bust, underbust, waist and hips with the Obsessive size chart when choosing, rather than going by dress size.
Care
Hand wash the bodysuit at 20 to 30 °C with a mild detergent, or in a wash bag on a delicate programme. No bleach. Press the water out, dry flat away from sun and radiators, and do not tumble dry.
