Black Sheer Mesh Ruffle Thong With Burgundy Straps Obsessive Parisel

The ruffle is what you see first on the Obsessive Parisel thong, and it hides nothing. Sheer black mesh is gathered onto a deep V waistband and left loose below it, so it falls away from the hips and moves when you do. Underneath, the back is cut to a thong. Two burgundy straps run above the black V and draw a second line across the hips.

The ruffle

The mesh is gathered closely onto the bound edge, dense enough to hold its folds instead of lying flat. It continues from the centre front round the hips to the centre back, so there is no angle it leaves out. It stays transparent where it falls, which is how it adds volume without adding cover.

The waistband and the straps

The black binding is shaped into a deep V, pointing down at the centre front and again at the centre back. Two slim burgundy straps run above it at a wider angle, following the same shape, and a short vertical strap in the centre links the two levels. Black and burgundy, and nothing else on it.

Sizing

Three paired sizes: S/M, L/XL and 2XL/3XL. The ruffle adds volume at the hips, but it is gathered onto the waistband, so the fit is decided by the cut underneath. Compare waist and hips with the Obsessive size chart instead of going by dress size.

Care

Gathered mesh creases easily, so hand wash at 20 to 30 °C with a mild detergent, or use a wash bag on a delicate programme. No bleach. Press the water out, dry flat away from sun and radiators, and skip the tumble dryer. It comes in its original Obsessive box.
