White Lace Trim Short Bridal Robe Obsessive Weddya

White, short, and light enough to move at every step, the Obsessive Weddya robe wraps at the front and ties at the waist with a matching belt. Lace runs along the neckline, the cuffs and the hem, and it is the sheer part of the garment while the main fabric covers considerably more. The sleeves stop below the elbow. Three paired sizes, up to 2XL/3XL.

The two fabrics

They behave differently, and that is most of the character of the piece. The lace borders are visibly sheer. The main white fabric covers considerably more, so the transparent line runs around the edges of the robe rather than across it. The fabric is 95% polyester with 5% elastane.

The cut

A wrap front, secured with the matching waist tie, cut loose rather than shaped. The sleeves are wide and finish below the elbow in a deep lace cuff. The lace at the hem is the same pattern and adds a little length to a short garment.

Sizes

S/M, L/XL and 2XL/3XL, measured on bust, underbust, waist and hips in the Obsessive size chart. The waist tie lets you vary how closely the wrap is drawn around the body once the size is chosen. Shoulder width and length are fixed by the size itself.

Care

Hand wash at 20 to 30 °C with a mild detergent. A wash bag and a delicate programme if the machine is easier. No bleach, no wringing, no tumble dryer. Robes go straight onto a hanger to dry rather than lying flat, away from sun and radiators, and if it needs pressing, use the lowest iron setting inside out.
