The Obsessive Elianes babydoll does not close at the front at all: the two mesh panels of the skirt hang from the underbust band and part in the middle, so the stomach stays bare from the heart down. A gold-toned heart-shaped metal connector sits between the lace triangle cups. Below it the skirt is sheer black mesh, above it the cups are floral lace on wide straps, and the back is cut in a deep V under the closure. A matching lace thong comes with it.
What comes in the set
The babydoll and a thong, in one combined size for both. The babydoll is 94% polyamide and 6% elastane, the thong 90% polyamide and 10% elastane. Both arrive together in the original Obsessive box.
The top and the skirt
The cups are triangles of floral lace with a scalloped upper edge, without wires or foam, meeting at the centre in the heart-shaped connector. From the connector a plain black band runs round the underbust. The skirt hangs from that band as two separate panels of sheer mesh with bound edges, flaring out toward the hem. Nothing joins them, so the front of the body is open from the band to the hem and the mesh falls to either side. The mesh is transparent, the lace reads sheer through its pattern.
Straps, back and closure
The straps are wide and adjust through sliders at the back. Each strap ends in a gold-toned ring where it meets the band. The band closes at the centre back with a hook-and-eye fastening on several positions, and below the closure the mesh is cut away in a deep V, so the back is open below the closure.
The thong
The thong is black floral lace front and back. The only plain part is the waistband, a wide elastic that sits on the hips as two broad bands, with a small gold-toned tag at the front. At the back the lace gives more coverage than a typical thong: the cut sits between a thong and a Brazilian brief, but much closer to Brazilian coverage.
Choosing a size
The Elianes babydoll is made in XS/S, M/L and XL/2XL. Babydoll and thong share one size and cannot be split. Compare bust, underbust, waist and hips with the Obsessive size chart rather than going by dress size.
Care
Hand wash at 20 to 30 °C with a mild detergent, or in a wash bag on a delicate programme. No bleach. Press the water out, dry flat away from sun and radiators, and do not tumble dry. Iron only if needed, on the lowest setting and inside out.

Does the babydoll close at the front?
