The Obsessive Gifty Red babydoll combines underwired, semi-transparent cups with a loose skirt of shiny transparent red that falls to the upper thigh, and leaves a large rounded opening in the middle of the back, just below the hook closure. A large satin bow sits at the centre of the neckline over a V of crossing straps. A matching thong comes with it.
What comes in the set
The babydoll and a thong, in one combined size for both. The composition is 95% polyester and 5% elastane, and the product contains no nickel. Both arrive together in the original Obsessive box.
The top
The cups are underwired and mostly semi-transparent shimmering mesh. Only the outer sides are lightly lined, and that lining is placed to bring the bust slightly toward the centre. Two thin straps cross in a V above them at the centre front and meet under the bow. The shoulder straps adjust through sliders, and the underbust band closes at the back with two hooks on two positions. A gold-toned logo plaque sits on the left strap.
The skirt and the back
From the underbust band the skirt flares out in the same shiny transparent fabric, with a bound hem. It does not hide what is under it. At the back, below the closure, the fabric is cut away in a rounded opening that leaves the middle of the back bare, and the skirt continues from its lower edge. Below the opening the fabric is gathered at the centre back. The overlapping sheer layers create a slightly deeper red vertical line toward the hem.
The thong
The thong is in the same shiny red fabric, with a string back.
Choosing a size
Babydoll and thong are supplied in the same set size. Compare bust, underbust, waist and hips with the Obsessive size chart when choosing, rather than going by dress size.
Care
Hand wash at 20 to 30 °C with a mild detergent, or in a wash bag on a delicate programme. No bleach. Press the water out, dry flat away from sun and radiators, and do not tumble dry.

Is the babydoll see-through?
The skirt is transparent. The cups are semi-transparent mesh except at the sides, where a light lining sits.
Is the back open?
Yes. Below the hook closure there is a rounded cut-out that leaves the middle of the back bare.
