The Obsessive Rolleya teddy is built like armour and makes no apology for it. Vertical bones run through the torso, glossy latex-look panels cross the body in a wide black X over transparent mesh, and the cups are open, stiffened and underwired. The crotch is open too. A halter strap goes behind the neck and the back closes with lacing.
Three materials: 100% polyurethane for the glossy panels, 95% polyester with 5% elastane, and 94% polyamide with 6% elastane. Vertical boning runs through the torso, and underwires sit beneath the open cups. Those are two separate pieces of structure doing two different jobs.
The straps adjust, and the back lacing changes the tension across the back once the teddy is on. The mesh is transparent from the bust down to the leg openings.
S/M, L/XL and 2XL/3XL. A teddy has to work across the whole torso at once, so compare bust, underbust, waist and hips against the Obsessive size chart rather than going by dress size alone. Torso length matters too and the chart does not cover it. The back lacing adjusts tension, but it does not stand in for choosing the right size.
It is a whole outfit on its own. Stockings suit it, though the teddy has no clips of its own to hold them. Worn under an open robe or a sheer dress, the X of glossy panels is what shows first.
Hand wash at 20 to 30 °C with a mild detergent. The latex-look panels keep their finish longest if it is washed by hand, so that is worth the few minutes. A cool delicate cycle in a wash bag is a reasonable substitute. No bleach. Press the water out rather than wringing, and dry flat away from sun and radiators.
