The Obsessive Matildea Black stay-ups are sheer black stockings with a deep band of patterned lace at the top, sitting high on the thigh. They are stay-ups with a silicone band inside the lace top, so they are worn without a suspender belt. The leg is smooth and sheer from the lace down to the toe.
Leg and lace top
The lace top is open-worked black lace, finished with a scalloped edge above and a plain band below where it joins the leg. The leg itself is fine sheer black knit.
Sizing
Compare your measurements with the stockings section of the Obsessive size chart rather than going by dress size, and look at leg length and thigh circumference, since the lace top has to sit on the thigh. The lace is 90% polyamide and 10% elastane, the leg 88% polyamide and 12% elastane, and the product contains no nickel.
Care
Hand wash at 20 to 30 °C with a mild detergent, or in a wash bag on a delicate programme. No bleach. Press the water out, dry flat away from sun and radiators, and do not tumble dry. They arrive in their original Obsessive box.
