The Obsessive Oxaria crotchless thong is cut so little that the metal does most of the talking: two gold-toned links with clear stones join the straps at the small of the back, and another leads down into the string. The front is a small triangle of sheer black mesh with a bound edge and a gold-toned plaque at one hip. Below the panel the crotch is open, with two thin straps continuing to the back. The side straps adjust through sliders, so the width around the hips is yours to set once the size is chosen.
How the Oxaria is cut
The front panel is sheer mesh edged in black binding. It ends short, and from there two narrow elastic straps run between the legs and up to the back. At the back everything meets in a small cluster of gold-toned rings and links: one ring on each hip strap, two flat links with clear stones, a central ring, and one more stone link leading down into the string. That is the whole garment. The hip straps are plain black elastic, one on each side, each with a metal slider and a ring where it joins the panel. Coverage at the back is a single string.
The mesh is transparent. Choose the Oxaria when you want the open construction and the jewellery at the back rather than a decorated front, because the front is deliberately plain apart from the plaque.
Sizing
The Oxaria is made in three paired sizes, S/M, L/XL and 2XL/3XL. Compare your waist and hip measurements with the Obsessive size chart rather than going by dress size. The sliders on both side straps let you adjust the fit around the hips within the size you pick, so a measurement sitting near the edge of a bracket has some room either way. Metal parts are nickel-free.
Care
Hand wash at 20 to 30 °C with a mild detergent. If it goes in the machine, use a wash bag and a delicate programme. Do not bleach. Press the water out rather than wringing, and dry flat away from sun and radiators. No tumble dryer. It arrives in its original Obsessive box.

Yes. The mesh panel stops at the front and two thin straps carry on to the back. There is no gusset and nothing closes the gap.
