The Obsessive Matildea Black chemise has a halter strap round the neck as well as ordinary shoulder straps, and gold-toned chain runs between the two on each side. Below that sit underwired lace cups with teardrop-shaped cut-outs at the inner edge, a V of lace down the front, and a close-fitting skirt of sheer black mesh to the upper thigh with a lace hem. A matching lace thong comes with it.
What comes in the set
The chemise and a thong, in one combined size for both. The lace is 90% polyamide and 10% elastane, the chain about 90% aluminium and 10% zinc alloy, and the product contains no nickel. Both arrive together in the original Obsessive box.
Cups and straps
The cups are patterned lace with underwires, and each has a teardrop-shaped cut-out at the inner edge near the centre front, framed by thin straps and small gold-toned rings. The halter strap fastens at the back of the neck, and a short chain on each side links it to the shoulder strap. The shoulder straps adjust through sliders. Below the cups a V-shaped panel of the same lace runs down to a point above the waist.
Skirt and back
The skirt is sheer black mesh, cut close to the body and finished with a narrow lace-trimmed hem. It does not hide what is under it. At the back the bra band closes at the centre with two hooks on two positions, and below the closure the mesh is cut away in a shallow semicircle.
The thong
The thong is black lace at the front on thin elastic straps, with a closed crotch and a string back.
Choosing a size
Chemise and thong are supplied in the same set size. Compare bust, underbust, waist and hips with the Obsessive size chart when choosing, rather than going by dress size.
Care
Hand wash at 20 to 30 °C with a mild detergent, or in a wash bag on a delicate programme. No bleach. Press the water out, dry flat away from sun and radiators, and do not tumble dry.

Is the chemise see-through?
The skirt is sheer mesh. The cups and the front panel are lace and show the skin through the pattern.
How is the halter strap worn?
It fastens at the back of the neck. Chains link it to the shoulder straps on both sides.
