The Gorsenia Amaris G029 is a non-padded underwired bra made in bands 65 to 110 for medium and large busts, using Gorsenia's K638 (Venezia) construction. Lace over stable tulle in the cups, an opaque Lycra back, wide foam-backed straps, and one vivid amaranth pink throughout.
The straps are backed with foam and faced with lace, and they come in two widths, 18 mm or 22 mm, depending on the size you order. They are made to reduce the load carried by the shoulders and the spine.
They adjust for length through metal sliders at the back and do not unclip.
Lace is laid over stable tulle across the front of the cup, and a firm panel of opaque Simplex knit forms the outer side. That panel gathers the bust toward the centre and adds stability to the cup. Underwires carry the base of the cup and vertical bones sit in the sides of the band.
Where the lace motifs do not cover it, the tulle is fine enough to see through.
The back wings are opaque Lycra with side bones to stop the band rolling during the day. The lower edge of the band is finished with soft binding. Closure is hook-and-eye, two or three rows depending on band size, each with three-position adjustment, and the hooks are covered in microfibre. Metal fittings are nickel-free, and a small brand plaque sits at the base of the centre panel.

The G029 is made in bands 65 through 110, with cups from C to M, but not every cup exists in every band. Band 65 does not go below cup F, the top of the range starts coming down from band 85 upward, and band 110 is made in cup C only. The cups are semi-sheer, and the scalloped lace edge and the cup seams can show through a thin fitted top, more so because the colour is strong. Under a shirt, a heavier knit or anything with structure to it, both are much less likely to show. The band and the whole back are opaque.
Best for: medium and larger busts, which is the range this construction is built for; anyone who finds narrow straps uncomfortable; anyone who wants a wired, structured cup and does not want foam in it.
Not ideal for: anyone who needs a smooth line under fitted jersey; anyone who wants a wireless cup; anyone looking for a moulded or padded cup.
Two briefs share the colour and the lace. The F029 is the fuller-coverage brief, with an opaque microfibre back, made in M to 4XL. The B029 is the Brazilian cut, with a back in elastic tulle, made in S to 2XL.
Hand wash at 40°C is preferred. Do not bleach, do not iron, do not dry clean, do not tumble dry. Close the hooks before washing.
No. In Gorsenia's naming, soft means non-padded rather than wireless. The G029 has underwires under the cups and vertical bones in the sides of the band. What it does not have is foam in the cup.
It may show through a thin one. The cup is semi-sheer, the seams sit close to the surface and the colour is strong, so all three can read through pale lightweight jersey. Under a shirt or a heavier knit it is far less likely to show.
