The Gorsenia Luisse K441/1 in navy blue pairs a solid lower cup with fishnet lace across the top, and in this dark shade the mesh contrasts with the skin beneath it. It is underwired, unpadded and made for medium, large and very large busts. Construction code: K441.

Construction of the cup

Three pieces per cup: an opaque knit below, and above it fishnet lace laid over stable tulle, which carries on into the centre gore. The top edge is finished with a tape that continues straight into the strap. The construction is designed to lift the bust and draw it towards the centre.

What the straps are for

Gorsenia makes the straps wide and builds them from foam and lace to take load off the shoulders and spine. Strap width comes in three steps that follow the size, and the straps are adjustable and non-detachable.

Back and closure

The back panel is opaque lycra with soft binding along its upper and lower edges, and a side bone on each side is meant to help limit rolling. The hooks come in two or three rows depending on size, with three positions to tighten or loosen the band. Metal parts are rose gold. Composition: 90% polyamide, 7% elastane, 3% polyester.

Navy and what shows

Dark fishnet over skin is a visible feature of this colour. Under white or pale fabrics the navy itself will show, and under thin or close-fitting ones the mesh texture and the seams of the lower cup can come through as well.

Size

Is a soft bra the same as a wire-free one?

Not at Gorsenia. Soft means there is no padding in the cup. The navy K441/1 has underwires.
