The Gorsenia Yoko K810 is an underwired soft bra for medium, large and very large busts, in black with sheer stripes across the top of the cup and a gold V at the centre. Its most visible detail is a double strap on each shoulder.

Two straps on each shoulder

The binding along the top of the cup does not stop at the shoulder. It continues over it and down the back as a second, narrower strap that adjusts on its own, running next to the main one. The main straps are adjustable and non-detachable and come in three widths, 14, 18 and 22 mm, according to size. Rings and sliders are gold-coloured metal and nickel-free.

The cup

The cup is cut in three pieces. Below is an opaque, stable simplex knit with a slight sheen. Above is an elastic lace worked in stripes, backed by an extra layer of stable tulle. That extra layer is there to reinforce the upper cup and is intended to help where one breast is fuller than the other. A raised centre gore and straps set out towards the sides are how the K810 is designed to gather the bust firmly towards the centre and lift it.

Centre, band and back

The centre gore is shaped from two layers of stable tulle and carries a gold-coloured metal V. The band combines opaque lycra with transparent elastic tulle and is finished along the top with a wide, soft elastic tape. Flat bones at the sides are there to keep the bra lying close to the body.

The fastening has three positions, and how deep it is depends on the strap: two rows of hooks on the sizes with the 14 mm strap, three rows on those with the 18 or 22 mm strap. Composition is 90% polyamide, 7% elastane, 3% polyester.

What shows

Between the stripes the upper cup is sheer, and so are the tulle sections of the band at the sides and back. The lower cup is opaque. Under thin or close-fitting tops the striped texture and the cup seams can come through, and under a wide or open neckline the second strap will be seen alongside the first.
