The Gorsenia Ismena G035 is a black soft bra on underwires, made for medium and large busts. Its four-part cup combines black floral lace on stable tulle with an opaque side support panel, a narrow vertical mesh tape accents one of the cup seams, and a small metal logo plate sits at the base of the centre gore.

Four-part cup

The cups have no foam or moulding. Their shape comes from four seamed sections and from the underwires. In the main sections the lace is laid over a stable tulle that keeps it from stretching out of shape, and the upper edge of the cup is sheer tulle finished with a lace scallop.

Side support panel

The fourth section is an opaque side support panel at the outer part of the cup. It is designed to gather the bust from the underarm area towards the centre, and together with the four-part cut it is meant to give a more centred, rounded shape.

Wings, bones and fastening

The wings are made of semi-sheer stretch mesh. Flexible bones at the sides are intended to steady the band and reduce rolling. The bra closes at the back with two or three rows of hooks, depending on size, with three settings for the band width.

Straps

Length is adjustable on the straps, but they cannot be unclipped. Their width changes with the size, and the rings and sliders are silver-tone.

Under clothes

Much of the cup is sheer, with the black lace showing as a pattern over transparent tulle, while the outer side support panel is opaque. Black is the easier choice under dark clothing, and the lace and mesh tape can show through pale or very thin fabric.

Care

Close the hooks, then wash the G035 by hand at 30 to 40 °C or let the machine do it on a delicate cycle with the bra in a laundry bag. Bleach, ironing, the dry cleaner and the tumble dryer should be avoided.
